Travina LLC (“Travina,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information when you access or use the Travina platform at travina.co (the “Platform”).
By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. Who This Policy Applies To
This Policy applies to two types of users:
- Travel Advisors — licensed travel professionals who apply for access to browse vacation rental listings and connect with property managers.
- Property Managers — owners, operators, and managers of vacation rental properties who apply for access to list properties and connect with travel advisors.
Both are referred to collectively as “Users” or “you.”
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide Directly
When you register or use the Platform, we collect:
- Account information: name, email address, phone number, mailing address, username, and password.
- Professional information: for travel advisors, this may include your host agency affiliation, IATA/CLIA number, business name, license numbers, and years of experience. For property managers, this may include your business name, property management credentials, and properties you operate.
- Property information (property managers only): details about each property you list, including addresses, photos, descriptions, amenities, availability, and pricing.
- Payment information (property managers only): billing details and payment method for your subscription. Payment card information is processed and stored by our third-party payment processor; Travina does not store full payment card numbers on its own servers.
- Communications: messages exchanged between Users through the Platform, and communications sent to Travina (including support requests and form submissions).
- Application materials: information you provide during the manual approval process.
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
When you use the Platform, we automatically collect:
- IP address, browser type, device information, and operating system
- Pages viewed, time spent on the Platform, and referring URLs
- Cookies and similar tracking technologies (see Section 8)
2.3 Information From Third Parties
We may receive information from:
- Identity verification or credential verification services we use during the approval process
- Our payment processor (transaction status, billing events)
- Integrated tools such as property management software (e.g., Hospitable) where you have authorized data sharing
3. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Evaluate applications and verify eligibility for membership
- Create, maintain, and secure your account
- Operate the Platform and enable communication between Users
- Process subscription payments and send billing-related communications (property managers)
- Send transactional and service messages, including approval notifications, security alerts, and product updates
- Send marketing communications (with the ability to unsubscribe at any time)
- Improve and develop the Platform
- Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms
- Comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests
4. How We Share Information
4.1 Between Users
The Platform exists to connect travel advisors and property managers. When you communicate or transact with another User, certain information becomes visible to them. For example:
- Property managers’ listing information is visible to approved travel advisors.
- Travel advisors’ professional contact information may be shared with property managers when they initiate or respond to a booking inquiry.
- Messages sent through the Platform are visible to the recipient and stored by Travina.
4.2 Service Providers
We share information with third parties that perform services on our behalf, including hosting providers, payment processors, email and communication tools, analytics providers, and credential verification services. These service providers are contractually limited in how they may use your information.
4.3 Legal and Safety
We may disclose information when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, enforce our Terms, respond to claims, or protect the rights, property, or safety of Travina, our Users, or others.
4.4 Business Transfers
If Travina is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before your information is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
4.5 With Your Consent
We may share information for other purposes with your consent.
We do not sell your personal information.
5. Communications Between Users
Messages exchanged between travel advisors and property managers on the Platform are stored by Travina. We may review messages to:
- Investigate suspected violations of our Terms
- Respond to support requests or disputes
- Comply with legal obligations
- Improve and maintain the Platform
Do not share sensitive personal information (such as Social Security numbers, full payment card details, or government-issued ID numbers) through Platform messages.
6. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active, as needed to provide the Platform, and as required to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When you close your account, we may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes (such as fraud prevention, tax records, and dispute resolution).
7. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your information
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Receive a portable copy of your information
- Opt out of marketing communications (use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email)

California residents: You have specific rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), including the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell personal information.

8. Cookies and Tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Platform, remember your login, analyze usage, and improve the experience. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling certain cookies may affect the functionality of the Platform.
9. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your username and password confidential.
10. Children’s Privacy
The Platform is intended for use by professionals over the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13 (or 16 where applicable). If you believe we have collected such information, contact us immediately.
11. International Users
Travina is operated from the United States. If you access the Platform from outside the US, your information will be transferred to and processed in the US.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on the Platform and update the “Last Updated” date. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on the Platform.
