About travina

Travina is a private B2B platform that connects travel advisors with vetted vacation rental property managers. We make booking short-term rentals feel as reliable as booking a hotel — with direct communication, transparent terms, and no middlemen between advisors and the people managing the properties.

Travina is built exclusively for travel professionals: licensed travel advisors who book vacation rentals for their clients, and the property managers and owners who operate high-quality short-term rentals. The platform is not open to the general public.

The Travina Pledge is a shared commitment that every member — travel advisors and property managers alike — agrees to before joining the network. It outlines the standards both sides hold themselves to, and it’s what keeps the platform professional, trusted, and mutually respectful.

Property managers pledge to: represent listings accurately, honor commission agreements and pay within 45 days of guest checkout, only cancel confirmed bookings under extreme circumstances, and communicate clearly with advisors.

Travel advisors pledge to: represent clients honestly, communicate booking details and changes in a timely way, respect property policies, honor agreed-upon commissions, and maintain professionalism in every interaction.

You can read the full Travina Pledge here.

Public listing platforms aren’t built for travel advisors — they don’t pay commission, they don’t manually review each property, and they limit direct communication with property managers. Travina is the opposite: advisors receive commission, communicate directly with property managers, and book from a curated, vetted network instead of an open marketplace.

Travina features high-end, well-managed vacation rentals — including beachfront, mountainside, ski-in/ski-out, and waterfront properties. Every property manager is reviewed before their properties go live, so advisors only see quality inventory from professional property managers.

Every travel advisor and property manager is manually reviewed before being granted access. We check credentials, professional standing, and fit with our network’s standards. This protects both sides: advisors see only legitimate, well-managed properties, and property managers only hear from serious professionals with real clients.

Not in the traditional sense. Travina is a private network where vetted advisors and property managers find each other and connect directly — booking payments and commission are handled offline between the two parties, not by Travina.

What holds the network together is the Travina Pledge, a shared commitment every member agrees to: property managers pledge accurate listings, timely commission payments (within 45 days of checkout), and clear communication; advisors pledge to represent clients honestly, respect property policies, and honor commission arrangements. Every member is vetted before joining, and the Pledge is what keeps the network professional, trusted, and mutually respectful.

For travel advisors

Yes. There’s no cost for licensed travel advisors to apply, get approved, or book through the platform. We make our money from property manager subscriptions, not from advisors.

Yes. Travina is exclusively for travel advisors who actively represent clients. During the application process, we verify credentials.

An agency account lets a host agency or agency owner manage their advisors on Travina in one place. The agency controls commission payment details centrally, so every booking made by an affiliated advisor pays to the agency rather than to the individual.

An authorized administrator applies first. You cannot add advisors until the agency account is approved.  From there you can invite advisors.

Both independent advisors and those affiliated with host agencies are welcome to apply, as long as you have the proper credentials and actively book travel for clients.

You keep 100% of the commission the property manager has listed on the property. We facilitate the connection, allow you to track your commission payments, and provide a way for you to share payment details with the property manager, but the financial relationship is ultimately between you and the property manager.

Yes — that’s one of the core reasons Travina exists. Unlike public booking platforms, you message property managers directly, ask questions, and build long-term relationships. No middlemen, no platform interference.

You contact the property manager directly through the platform. They know their inventory best and can answer detailed questions about amenities, availability, group sizes, and special requests in real time.

For property managers

Travina’s Platform Fee is 3% of the booking subtotal on completed stays. There’s no subscription, no listing fee, and no charge for having your properties on the platform.

The booking subtotal is only the nightly rate. Guest fees (including cleaning, pet, and extra guest fees), taxes and security deposits aren’t included.

You set the commission percentage, it shows on your listings, and you can change it whenever you want. Most property managers land around 10%.

Travina doesn’t set a minimum or take a cut of it. The advisor commission is also based on the booking subtotal.

You owe nothing. Both the platform fee and the advisor commission apply to completed stays only, so a cancellation costs you nothing either way.

We focus on high-quality, well-managed vacation rentals — typically mid-to-high-end short-term rentals operated by professional property managers or experienced owners. Properties must be in good standing, accurately represented, and ready to host advisor-booked guests.

Only approved, vetted travel advisors. Your listings are not publicly searchable, are not indexed by search engines, and are never visible to the general public. This protects your privacy and ensures only serious professionals see your inventory.

No. You vet each advisor inquiry, set your own terms, and decide whether to accept a booking. The platform connects you with qualified professionals — but you remain in control of your inventory and decisions.

No. A listing site puts your property in front of travelers and takes a cut of the booking. This is a directory that puts your property in front of the professionals who advise travelers, and the booking happens on your own system.

No. If you have Hospitable, you can connect your account and your listings sync automatically, including availability. If you don’t use Hospitable then you can add your property information to Travina and add an iCal link to show availability.

If you are on Hospitable, connecting your account and adding the Travina-specific information to your listings is a short sitting. If you don’t use Hospitable, you should dedicate about 15-20 minutes to manually add each property. If you’re part of the Launch Partner Program, we will help you upload your property information.

Submit an application through our property manager registration page. Once approved, you’ll start your monthly subscription and gain access to your private dashboard to begin listing properties.
